This Amendment also clarifies that the compensation and all expenses of the umpire shall be paid from the Fund.Effective January 1, 2011 an Amendment was made to the Trust Agreement to incorporate certain changes to the Trust Agreement to reflect the provisions of the Asset Transfer and Merger Agreement between the Plumbers' Welfare Fund, Local 130, U.A. and the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union No. 422 Health and Welfare Fund.Effective April 1, 2011 an Amendment was made to the Trust Agreement to reflect changes in the eligibility provisions. This Amendment reduces the hours required to establish initial eligibility and to re-establish eligibility to one hundred fifty hours of employment in the craft as an employee of a contributing contractor in a period of three consecutive months or less. This Amendment extends the eligibility to participate for a three month period beginning on the participant's initial eligibility date or reinstatement date. This Amendment also provides for the continuation of eligibility, subject to the terms of the Trust Agreement, if the participant completes an additional one hundred fifty hours of employment in the craft as an employee of a contributing contractor during the three consecutive month period beginning on the participant's initial eligibility date or reinstatement date. |
