They are reimbursed a flat rate for each ambulance call they respond to. This compensation has not changed in the last 16 years. The key employees were last reviewed in 2008. This review was done by our staff and presented to the county commissioners per their request. The county commissioners compared our pay structure with that of another ambulance service in the county. It was determined that our pay was below the other service and that there would be no other changes made except an annual cost of living raise if the budget can pay for it.
