| F990_P03_S00_L01 | Form 990, Part III, Line 1 | My Bridge Radio operates a network of Christian-format radio stations in Nebraska. The main studio is located in Grand Island, Nebraska. Seven full power FM stations are located in Alliance, Valentine, Overton, Sargent, Grand Island, Lincoln and Beatrice. Thirteen translators rebroadcast the signal to reach 12 additional communities: Nebraska City, Deshler, Belleville KS, Geneva, Kearney, Holdrege, North Platte, Paxton, Ogallala, Sidney (2), Scottsbluff and Chadron. The network is operated non-commercially. The staff consists of on-air announcers, music programmers, producers and support staff who work together to fulfill the exempt purposes of the organization. Each activity is conducted throughout the daily 24 hours of programming, with each staff member fulfilling a role in conducting the activities. The funding comes from the donations of individuals, churches, businesses and foundations. The radio network has experienced steady growth over the past several years; a new addition in 2011 is the translator in Geneva. Our Christian music format features hundreds of contemporary Christian songs, with new songs added almost weekly. Throughout the daily song rotation there is a strong emphasis on worship songs, strengthening the listener's connection to God. On Sundays 100% of the playlist is contemporary praise and worship songs. Our Bible teaching programs include Insight for Living, Back to the Bible, Turning Point, Grace to You and In Touch. Other radio programs and features bring practical insights for the Christian life, such as Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, New Life Live, Lighten Up, A Word With You and the children's program Adventures in Odyssey. |
