Explanation:

The first extension was electronically filed on February 14, 2012, and we did not discover that it had been rejected until February 16, 2012. On February 16, 2012 we resubmitted the extension which was rejected because now it was considered late. We then discovered that the part of the e-file system that processes electronically filed returns of tax-exempt organizations was off-line during this time period. also during this time frame the preparer of our information returns was involved in a severe automobile accident and he was not able to complete the returns until the May 15, 2012 deadline.
