Part VI - Section B - Line 15b
Beet Street's compensation amounts for employees are reveiwed by the Board of Directors, which process has included hiring Mountain States Employers Council for salary market survey's for Northern Colorado. This data has been used by the Board of Directors as part of its annual review of the executive director for Beet Street.
Part VI - Section B - Line 12c
Members of the Beet Street Board and staff sign the Conflict Interest Policy and know that any potential conflict of interest items must be disclosed before any matter is discussed - whether in board meetings or in staff meetings. The financial coordinator and the office manager monitored all invoices and contract to refrain from using any entity that could potentially cause a conflict of interest for a board member or staff member (unless disclosed and accepted by the Beet Street organization). No names of sponsors or donors of Beet Street are given to board or staff members to be used for personal or private solicitation.

In 2011, Beet Street's programming included: Culture Cafes, Creative Garden, Streetmosphere and the development of theArts Incubator of the Rockies. Beet Street Culture Cafes connects the local community experts with the general public for an informative and engaging presentation the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. Cafes are informal and accessible much more interactive than just a public lecture or performance. Each cafe is focused on a theme important to Fort Collins Culture science or arts. Beet Street Cafes will keep you on the cutting edge of the Fort Collins art and culture scene. The Creative Garden is an outlet of the unique talents of Fort Collins arts and culture community, and provides a retreat full of creative expression and performance within the hustle and bustle of Bohemian Nights At NewWestFest. A visitor to Creative Garden will find many artistic and entertainment experiences, including: A performing arts stage An invitational art show Gourmet food choices Craft beers, wines, and spirits Shaded cafe-style seating The Bohemian Nights Acoustic StageStreetmosphere, Beet Streets signature cultural program, transforms Fort Collins into a spontaneous,outdoor performing arts festival all summer long. Streetmosphere provides high quality, free performances that boasts civic pride for our local, creative talent. In 2010 and 2011, Streetmosphere auditioned and hired more than 100 local acts including classical, jazz, country, bluegrass, and pop singers, musicians and bands; dancers, jugglers, magicians, painters, weavers, and even a cowboy poet.Attendance and excitement about Streetmosphere has grown exponentially - in 2010, 60,000 people stopped and watched performances; in 2011, more than 120,000 residents and visitors participated.Downtown businesses report that the vibrant activity of Streetmosphere has increased foot traffic and sales.The Arts Incubator of the Rockies (AIR), serves 10 states and over 280,000 creatives in the Intermountain West.
