What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Texas Association of Staffing is a professional trade association committed to representing the staffing industry in Texas, TAS promotes the industry through educational programs as well as offering training opportunities to our members. TAS is advocate for staffing in the Texas State Legislature and promotes the benefits of the industry to the economy
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 TAS sponsored several programs and services of benefits to its members in 2011:February 2011-TAS sponsored a state legislative day and reception for its members. The program instruction on the legislative process, how it works and how to work with legislators. This was followed by a reception where TAS members had an opportunity to meet with legislative staff and elected officials in an informal setting.Spring 2011 - TAS sponsored Road Show meetings in several location throughout the state to bring staffing industry owners and senior staff up to date on The Affordable Health Care Act.
