	In addition to providing funds for the organization's exempt purpose, membership dues and reinstatement fees provide a means for keeping track of current members. Membership dues and reinstatement fees also support a language disorders clinic that is operated by the North Carolina Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc. within the the building owned by the organization. The clinic provides therapy to children with either written or spoken language development problems.
