What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Established in June of 1996 as a response to the growing need for communication among women in the workplace, the Chesapeake Professional Women's Network (CPWN) has a current membership of approximately 250 members. CPWN is based in Harford County, Maryland, and provides professional networking opportunities throughout northeastern Maryland and beyond. Networking events are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Prospective members are welcome to visit our organization at an upcoming event.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Monthly meetings held at local restaurants and clubs to provide opportunities for members and quests to network. Regular speakers on business topics are heard. Fees are charged to offset the costs of the meal and facility.
