X 2 THE FOUNDATION IS A TAX-EXEMPT CORPORATION UNDER SECTION 501C3 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND IS EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAX ON EARNINGS ASSOCIATED WITH ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE. UNRELATED BUSINESS INCOME IS TAXED AT REGULAR CORPORATE RATES. THE FOUNDATION HAD NO UNRELATED BUSINESS INCOME. FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2010, THE FOUNDATION ADOPTED GUIDANCE IN FASB ASC 740-10, REGARDING THE REPORTING OF UNCERTAINTY IN INCOME TAXES. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FASB ASC 740-10 HAD NO IMPACT ON THE FOUNDATIONS STATEMENT OF FINANCIAL POSITION OR STATEMENT OF ACTIVITIES. THE FOUNDATION DOES NOT BELIEVE ITS FINANCIAL STATEMENTS REFLECT ANY UNCERTAIN TAX POSITIONS.
