The purpose of this association is to foster and promote within the state Connectticut Maine Massachusetts New Hampshire Rhode Island and Vermont the programs of the National Community Development Association this this involves attainments of sound communities through processes of development, preservation, conservation and redevelopment by exchanging information and experience of housing and community development. serving as advocate for policies unique to the region. Promoting professional development within the region.

28 THE MAIN GOAL OF GETTING INFORMATION OUT OF VARIOUS COMMNUITIES ON CHANGES IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS WERE MET BY HAVING TWO MEETINGS ONE IN THE SPRING AND FALL OF EACH YEAR. WE ARE ABLE TO GET INFORMATION OUT TO THE VARIOUS COMMUNITIES BY HAVING SPEAKERS FROM DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE BLOCK GRANT GIVING THE NEW UPDATES OF THESE CHANGES ALONG WITH THE WRITTEN INFORMATION.
