THE ST. ANTHONY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION WAS INCORPORATED AS A 501(C)(3), TAX-EXEMPT, CHARITABLE FOUNDATION IN 1989. THE FOUNDATION'S MAIN PURPOSE IS TO SOLICIT, RECEIVE, MAINTAIN AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS AND OTHER ASSETS AND TO ADMINISTER AND APPLY THE INCOME AND PRINCIPAL THEREOF EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES TO BEST PROMOTE THE PURPOSES OF ST. ANTHONY HOSPITAL. THE ST. ANTHONY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS THROUGH SPECIAL EVENTS, ANNUAL GIVING AND MAJOR GIFTS. IN FY11, THE FOUNDATION-SPONSORED FESTIVAL OF TREES ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CHARITY EVENT RAISED APPROXIMATELY $54,000 IN SUPPORT OF ST. ANTHONY HOSPITAL'S CANCER PROGRAMS. THE FOUNDATION IS CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN A COMMUNITY-WIDE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN WITH A GOAL OF RAISING $1,200,000 TO ASSIST WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT COSTS OF A REPLACEMENT HOSPITAL FOR ST. ANTHONY HOSPITAL.
