NO SUCH FACILITY HAS BEEN AVAILABLE IN THE REGION AND MEETING THE NEED FOR SUCH HAS BEEN A LARGE MANDATE TO THE ORGANIZATION BY THE COMMUNITY. THE VISION FOR SUCH A FACILITY CAME TO FRUITION AT THE END OF 2009 WITH THE OPENING OF THE 35,000 SQUARE FOOT YMCA DILLON COMMUNITY CENTER. THIS FACILITY INCLUDES A SIX LANE, 25 YARD POOL, SPA, GYMNASIUM, WELLNESS CENTER, TEEN CENTER, COMMUNITY ROOMS, LOBBY, LOCKER ROOMS, AND OUTDOOR PROGRAM SPACES. THEIR EFFORTS RESULTED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW TEEN IMPACT PROGRAM FOR AT RISK YOUTH AND MANY OTHER NEW PROGRAMS.
