	2011 National Homeland Defense Symposium - NHDF conducts this event on homeland security and defense issues. It is held in Colorado Springs, CO on an annual basis, where experts in government, industry, academia and media converge to discuss, educate and share information and ideas to accomplish NHDFs mission of Securing the Future of Liberty through the sharing of technology, innovation, and education. In 2011 the Symposium took place from October 31 - November 2 providing 2 days of presentations and discussions by 30 speakers and 25 Exhibitors, with 400 people in attendance. 75 Volunteers assisted in supporting NDHF with the event.

	Military Support Program MSP The program is designed to support the National Homeland Defense Foundations mission to foster and promote understanding and awareness of homeland defense. MSP directly supports programs for active duty soldiers and families.

	2011 National Security Innovation Competition - NHDF has undertaken this annual event which in 2011 took place in Colorado Springs, CO. Competitors attend from around the nation and Canada to present national security innovative ideas to be judged and awards given. For this first event handled by NHDF there were 28 competitors, 10 volunteers including judges and 150 people in attendance.
