Explanation:

MCOFU submitted the 990 electroinically on 8/6/12. Due to a problem with IRS reecordsd and their y/e it was rejected. This was not discovered until 9/7/12 and rectified by the IRS on 9/10/12.MCOFU was advised by their then tax preparer that extension requests for a due date of 8/15/12 had been submitted. Subsequent to then the tax preaprer and MCOFU's treasurer were replaced. Copies of the extension requests (1st and 2nd) have not been located. We were engaged as MCOFU auditor and tax preparer in late June and originally attempted to e-file the 990 by what we thought was an extended due date of 8/15.
