What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The organization is established under Congressional Charter for the following purposes: Fraternal, patriotic, historical & educational. To preserve & strengthen comradeship, to assist worthy comrades, to perpetuate the memory & history of our dead and to assist widows and orphans. To maintain true allegiance to the Government of the U.S. & fidelity to it's constitution and laws to foster true patriotism & extend and maintain the institutions of American freedom and preserve and defend the U.S. from all enemies.
