Navajo Elks Lodge hosted a Local & State Oratorical contest. Navajo Elks sponsored the winner of the State oratorical contest to the district contest located in Sacramento California and paid for hotel, food and hotel accommodations for two days. Our contestant was a 17 year old young man that won first place at the District and Regional level. He went on to place 4th at the National level. Having a contestant to make it to the grand/national level has never been accomplish in the history of our lodge.

The Navajo Elks Lodge sponsored an Easter egg hunt for underpriviledge children throughout the local community. Eggs, candy and fruit bags were provided to 225 kids.

Navajo Elks Lodge provided a Kids Christmas Party for 205 kids. Each kid received two toys, hot dogs, hamburgers and fruits in a bag. Navavajo Elks lodge provided a Santa Clause and music for the kids Dance contest.

On Easter Sunday, we sponsored an Easter egg hunt for needed kids throughout the local community. A total of 150 kids participate in this event each year.
