	WLCV protects natural resources and public health by working in the Wisconsin Legislature to pass proactive conservation policy and to stop policies that damage our air, land, and water. In 2012 WLCV ran a successful campaign to stop an open-pit mining bill that would have destroyed wetlands, depleted groundwater and drinking water supplies, and contaminated lakes and rivers.
