RECEIVABLE FROM OFFICER. DUE FROM RICH SIMON ON NOVEMBER 30, 2004, THE ORGANIZATION SOLD 4 SPLIT DOLLAR LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES IT OWNED ON LIFE OF RICH SIMON TO RICH SIMON. THE SALE PRICE AND THE ORGINAL AMOUNT OF THE LOAN AMOUNT WAS DETERMINED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY AS THE VALUE OF THE POLICIES AT THE TIME OF TRANSFER. THE NOTE IS SECURED BY A LIEN ON THE POLICIES. THE INTEREST RATE WAS SET AT THE TIME OF THE SALE AT THE IRS AFR FOR LONG TERM LOANS WITH ANNUAL INTEREST PAYMENTS. THE 2004 FORM 990 WAS AUDITED BY IRS AGENT VANESSA RATHER ( ID #50-32345) IN 2006. THIS SPECIFIC TRANSACTION WAS EXAMINED AND APPROVED BY MS. RATHER AS PART OF AN IRS PROJECT TO REVIEW LOANS TO OFFICERS FOR EXCESS BENEFIT TRANSACTIONS.
