DURING 2012, THE PROVIDER PALS CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM INCLUDED OVER 8,000 STUDENTS IN CLASSROOM IN CITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. THE CITIES WITH PROVIDER PALS PROGRAMMING INCLUDE LOS ANGELES, WASHINGTON, DC (3 SCHOOLS), MINNEAPOLIS-ST PAUL (5 SCHOOLS), WORTHINGTON, MN, LAMBERTON, MN, SAN DIEGO, WOLCOTT, IN, LIBBY, TROY AND EUREKA, MT, AND OTHERS. FARMERS, RANCHERS, MINERS, LOGGERS, AND FISHERMAN FROM RURAL AREAS THROUGHOUT THE NATION WERE ADOPTED BY AND VISITED THE PROVIDER PALS SCHOOLCHILDREN IN THE CLASSROOM. PROVIDER PALS OPERATES A VIRTUAL VILLAGE THAT INCLUDES EDUCATIONALLY BASED INTERACTIVE LEARNING ON-LINE IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THE CHILD ON-LINE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS. ALL STUDENTS INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAM ARE SPONSORED TO ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP TO THIS UNIQUE LEARNING SITE. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING IN THE FUTURE WILL INCLUDE WEBINARS DURING EARTH DAY AND FIELD VISITS BY CLASSROOMS TO REAL FARMS, RANCHES, MINES AND FOREST MANAGEMENT SITES.
