Dear Service We were not aware that Form 990 for 2011 had not been filed until we received your notice. Our CPA requested an extension for 2011 but forget to complete the return. He had erroneously marked the return as completed in his computer program, when in fact it was incomplete. We are a small nonprofit that operates with only one full-time employee. We provide a beneficial service to the homebuilders in our community. We have a good compliance record with the Internal Revenue Service.
