What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE TRI COUNTY LODGE SUPPORTS/FUNDS LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE PREPARATION FOR SCHOOL, KNOWN LOCALLY AS THE ANNUAL KOPS AND KIDS SHOPPING TRIP. FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE ALSO INVITES PARENTS WITH CHILDREN IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO COME AND SHOP FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES/CLOTHING AND OTHER ITEMS FOR THEIR CHILDREN. SPONSOR OF A CRIMINAL JUSTICE SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT HELD ANNUALLY. MONIES RAISED FROM ENTRY FEES ARE PUT INTO A SCHOLARSHIP FUND HELD AT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR QUALIFYING CRIMINAL JUSTICE STUDENTS. THE LODGE ALSO SUPPORTS ANNUAL DRIVE FOR THE AVON BREAST CANCER CAM- PAIGN. WORKING THROUGH THE BLUE KNIGHTS THEY GIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS.
