Medicines-For-Multitudes/Gifts-That-Grow: The Medicines-for-Multitudes program ships and distributes medicines and medical supplies to more than 400 medical outlets in Eastern Europe, Liberia, Haiti, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and other parts of the world. These outlets include clinics, hospitals, and church pharmacies that provide the free medicines to suffering, needy people. Because generous pharmaceutical companies donate the medicines, CAM can ship and distribute $75 worth of medicines for every dollar given to Medicines-for-Multitudes. Though the items are donated, CAM has procurement fees and shipping costs to bring them to our warehouse in Pennsylvania. The Gifts-that-Grow program covers these costs, enabling CAM to accept more free products for the poor. In 2012, CAM shipped an estimated wholesale value of over $96 million of medicines, vitamins, liquid nutrition, and medical supplies.

Clothing Bundle Project: Each year, this program ships large quantities quality used clothing and footwear and thousands of cozy comforters to needy families in various parts of the world. The items, donated by generous supporters in the United States, bring joy and relief to people who wonder how they will clothe their families another year. In 2012, clothing was shipped to Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Haiti, Liberia, Nicaragua, and other countries. Every gift of $69 processes, ships, and distributes approximately 150 pounds of clothing, footwear, and comforters.

Food Parcel Programs: CAM?s food parcel program reaches out to needy families, elderly people, and widows, widowers, or abandoned wives. In countries where families suffer from extremely low incomes, the parcels make the difference between hunger and sustenance. In 2012, CAM distributed 78,051 food parcels in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Nicaragua, Haiti, Liberia and Israel. The parcels contain most or all of these products: food, vitamins, hygiene items, and medicines. We also give Christian literature with most of the parcels, and some of the elderly and widows receive $10 cash, which they often use for medical bills and other expenses.

Bibles-For-The-World: CAM wants to provide as many people as possible with the Word of God. The Bibles-for-the-World program makes it possible to translate, print, and distribute Bibles, Bible story books, inspirational/teaching books, Christian family magazines, and Bible correspondence courses. The literature is distributed in Eastern Europe, Central America, Liberia, Haiti, and other parts of the world.

International Crisis: This program helps victims of war, famine, and natural disasters around the world. Supporters? donations provide emergency food, medicines, clothing, shelter, rebuilding, or other relief items. CAM?s priority in all International Crisis projects is to distribute Christian literature and share the love of Christ in closed and dark places of the world. Some countries where CAM had International Crisis projects during 2012 include Romania, Moldova, and Haiti.

Diaster Response Services/Rapid Response Teams: Disaster Response Services (DRS) coordinates volunteers to rebuild in natural disaster areas of the United States. Volunteers have donated thousands of hours serving in communities crippled by floods, hurricanes, fires, or tornadoes. Rapid Response Teams (RRT), a branch under DRS, has teams and equipment-stocked trailers ready to roll when a disaster strikes. These teams are on call to investigate the damages within 24 hours and coordinate volunteers to start cleanup and repair within 48 hours. Both DRS and RRT volunteers do more than just cleanup and rebuilding, they also give a listening ear, distribute Gospel CDs and Christian literature, and show God?s love through their presence and care.

Haiti-Sponsor-A-Child School Program: Haiti?s government does not provide free schooling, and many parents cannot afford to send their children to school. This program provides textbooks, school supplies, and a warm meal each school day for approximately 8,000 students at 48 schools in Haiti. For the teachers, it provides Biblical training and subsidized pay. $55 per month supports five students.

Sponsor-an-Orphan: This program provides food, clothing, medicines, Christian literature, and covers some schooling costs for orphaned, destitute, or abandoned children in Liberia, Kenya, India, and Haiti. A donation of $45 supports one child for a month. In Liberia, the program supports approximately 1,700 children at 43 orphanages and almost 900 children who live with national church families. It also supports 1,700 orphans in Kenya who live in homes with relatives or national families in AMA (Amish Mennonite Aid) churches. This support helps relieve caretakers who already struggle to provide for their own families. Some Sponsor-an-Orphan funds go to a small orphanage in Haiti and to four orphanages in India.

Family-Self-Support: Helping selected Christian families support themselves rather than depend on material aid is important to CAM. The Family-Self-Support program provides funds for families to buy a plot of land, horse and wagon, cow, greenhouse, tools, equipment, or other resources to help them make a living. The program operates in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Israel, Haiti, Liberia, and Kenya.

SALT Microfinance Solutions: People in needy countries usually want to work and provide for themselves instead of depending on foreign aid, but many of them do not have resources to get started. CAM?s SALT Microfinance program provides small loans for needy people to start small businesses. As clients repay their loans, they are eligible for larger loans to expand their businesses. The core of this program is teaching, both spiritual and business. Our goal is to first introduce men and women to Jesus Christ and then walk with them as they transition from poverty to providing for themselves. This program currently operates in Haiti, Ghana, and Nicaragua.

A 4conflict of interest4 occurs where a person is responsible for promoting the interest of the ministry at the same time he or she is involved in a competing personal interest (financial, business or personal). 4Disclosure4 shall mean providing properly, to the appropriate person, a written description of the facts comprising the real or apparent conflict of interest. An annual disclosure statement (the Conflict of Interest/Related Party questionnaire) shall be circulated to the members of the Board of Directors, members of the Executive Committee, and certain identified agents and employees to assist them in considering such disclosures, but disclosure is appropriate and required whenever conflicts of interest may occur. The written notices of disclosures shall be filed with the General Director or such other person designated by the General Director to receive such notifications. At the Annual meeting of the Board of Directors, all disclosures of real or apparent conflict of interest shall be noted for the record in the minutes. An individual member of the Board of Directors, a member of the Executive Committee, officer, agent, or employee who believes that he or she or an immediate member of his or her immediate family might have a real or apparent conflict of interest, in addition to filing a notice of disclosure, must abstain from: 1. Participating in discussions or deliberations with respect to the subject of the conflict (other than to present factual information or to answer questions), 2. Using his or her personal influence to affect deliberations, 3. Making motions, 4. Voting, 5. Executing agreements, or 6. Taking similar actions on behalf of the organizations where the conflict of interest might pertain by law, agreement, or otherwise. At the discretion of the Board of Directors or a committee thereof, a person with a real or apparent conflict of interest may be excused from all or any portion of discussion or deliberations with respect to the subject of the conflict. A member of the Board of Directors or a committee thereof, who, having disclosed a conflict of interest, nevertheless shall be counted in determining the existence of a quorum at any meeting in which the subject of the conflict is discussed. The minutes of the meeting shall reflect the individual9s disclosure, the vote thereon, and the individual9s abstention from participation and voting. The General Director shall ensure that all members of the Board of Directors, members of the Executive Committee, agents, employees, and independent contractors of the organization are made aware of the organization9s policy with respect to conflicts of interest.

O09 General explanation attachment Part I and III, Line 1 (continuation): approximately 15 million pounds of food, clothing, medicines, seeds, Bibles, Favorite Stories from the Bible, and other Christian literature. Much of the aid goes to needy children, orphans, and Christian families. CAM also helps families provide for themselves through the Family-Self-Support and SALT Microfinance Solutions programs. CAM?s Disaster Responses Services and Rapid Response Teams coordinate volunteers to help clean up and rebuild for victims of natural disasters in the USA. The Conservative Anabaptist Service Program (CASP) provides an ethical, Selective Service System-approved place of employment for conscientious objectors to serve in case of a draft. Our International Crisis program helps people around the world who suffer from war, famine, and natural disasters. CAM also installs Gospel billboards along America?s major highways, supports several church-planting efforts, and operates two overseas medical clinics. CAM?s main purposes of giving material aid are: 1) to help and encourage God?s people and 2) to help bring the Gospel to a lost and dying world. CAM has staff, warehouses and distribution networks in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Haiti, Nicaragua, Liberia, and Israel. Part V, Line 4b Disclosure: CAM also has foreign bank accounts in RO and IS.
