What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? PROMOTE SAILING SKILLS AND PROVIDE CLUB FACILITIES.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 JUNIOR SAILING SCHOOL - THIS PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED ON CLUB PREMISES. IT IS NORMALLY 5-7 DAYS IN LENGTH. FOR 2012, APPROX. 50 STUDENTS ATTENDED THE SCHOOL WHICH WAS TAUGHT BY SEVERAL ADULT MEMBER INSTRUCTORS. IT IS OPEN TO MINOR CHILDREN AGES 10 AND ABOVE OF MEMBERS, AND NON-MEMBERS BY INVITATION. EACH STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ADULT FAMILY MEMBER SUPERVISOR PRESENT. THE CLUB PROVIDES TROPHIES AND COVERS RELATED EXPENSES. NO FEES ARE CHARGED FOR THIS PROGRAM BUT DONATIONS TO COVER DIRECT COSTS ARE ACCEPTED.
