Part VI Section C Line 17
Organization is located and operates in Colorado, but organizations with 501(c)(3) status are not required to send copies of Form 990 to the state of Colorado.
Part VI - Section B - Line 15b
Beet Street's compensation amounts for employees are reveiwed by the Board of Directors, which process has included hiring Mountain States Employers Council for salary market survey's for Northern Colorado. This data has been used by the Board of Directors as part of its annual review of the executive director for Beet Street.
Part VI - Section B - Line 12c
Members of the Beet Street Board and staff sign the Conflict Interest Policy and know that any potential conflict of interest items must be disclosed before any matter is discussed - whether in board meetings or in staff meetings. The financial coordinator monitored all invoices and contracts to refrain from using any entity that could potentially cause a conflict of interest for a board member or staff member (unless disclosed and accepted by the Beet Street organization). No names of sponsors or donors of Beet Street are given to board or staff members to be used for personal or private solicitation.

Beet Street exists as a catalyst to develop Fort Collins into a nationally recognized arts and culture center and destination by distinguishing ourselves as an intellectually vital community that fosters, celebrates, and inspires human creativity. In 2012, Beet Street's programming included: Streetmosphere and the development of the Arts Incubator of the Rockies. Streetmosphere, Beet Streets signature cultural program, transforms Fort Collins into a spontaneous, outdoor performing arts festival all summer long. Streetmosphere provides high quality, free performances that boasts civic pride for our local, creative talent. In 2012, Streetmosphere auditioned and hired more than 100 local acts including classical, jazz, country, bluegrass, and pop singers, musicians and bands, dancers, jugglers, magicians, painters, weavers, and even a cowboy poet.Attendance and excitement about Streetmosphere has grown exponentially - in 2010, 60,000 people stopped and watched performances; in 2011 more than 120,000 residents and visitors participated; in 2012, this number has grown to more than 150,000. Downtown businesses report that the vibrant activity of Streetmosphere has increased foot traffic and sales.The Arts Incubator of the Rockies (AIR), serves 10 states and over 280,000 creatives in the Intermountain West. Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, AIR will provide professional development and entrepreneurial training. AIR serves all creative and community members who want to shift the paradigms about art, money, value, and community. (AIR) is a revolutionary partnership between Colorado State University School of the Arts, City of Fort Collins Cultural Services Department, and BeetStreet.
