	Public Policy - LRI's activities remained focused on the centrality of a peaceful and democratic lebanon to US foreign policy by advocating for congressional resolutions and statements, submitting nonpartisan educational materials to congressional staff and providing assistance and background information to members of the US administration. LRI has assisted members of the house of representatives and senate in preparing for a number of visits, discussions and hearings related to US policy toward Lebanon and Syria. LRI kept seeking the US government's support for Lebanon's democratic and national institutions through the annual congressional appropriations process and various policymakers and organizations.
