Riffat Massood, Bruce Gilley, Ann Lee, Mark Hixon, Mel Gurtov, Katherine Boo, Daniel Lerch, Robin Hahnel, Dr. Tariq Ramadan, Lily Yeh, Marc Lynch and Dr. Jody Williams. Other programs include a Young Professionals networking group and a culture and recreation-oriented Member Nights. The Organization also conducts annually the Great Decisions series on the eight most critical foreign policy issues facing the U.S. The Community Connections training program provides professional training and business internships for entrepreneurs and professionals from the former Soviet Union. Participants spend two to five weeks in Oregon, staying with local volunteer host families, working in businesses and meeting with their professional counterparts. During 2010 the Council gained a new program coordinating visits from groups of international high school students. Groups have been hosted from Serbia and Iraq. |
