What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO FURTHER THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF WESTON, MISSOURI, & ITS ENVIRONMENTS BY PROMOTING AND ASSISTING THE GROWTH OF NEW AND EXISTING BUSINESSES.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 IN THE ORGANIZATION'S ONGOING MISSION TO FURTHER THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF THE CITY OF WESTON, THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO HELP FUND THE OPERATING COSTS OF THE CHAMBER AS WELL AS PROVIDE ADDITIONAL VISITORS TO TOWN WHO SUPPORT THE CITY'S SMALL BUSINESSES. THE TWO MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE A CHRISTMAS HOMES TOUR HELD THE FIRST WEEKEND IN DECEMBER AND A FALL APPLE FESTIVAL HELD THE FIRST WEEKEND IN OCTOBER. ADDITIONAL,SMALLER EVENTS ARE HELD AT VARIOUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
