What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? CONSERVATION EDUCATION/FIREARMS TRAINING: PROVIDE MONTHLY CONSERVATION NEWSLETTER TO LOCAL SCHOOLS, YOUTH CONSERVATION CAMP, 20 CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS FOR YOUTH FIREARMS, SAFETY TRAINING, FIREARMS TRAINING (QUALIFYING) FOR LOCAL & FEDERAL AGENCIES.

28 FIREARMS AND SAFETY TRAINING AND CONSERVATION EDUCATION - UNS HAS PURCHASED AND HAVE ON HAND RIFLES FOR USE BY FIREARM SAFETY YOUTHS WHILE GOING THROUGH THE UNS FIREARM SAFETY COURSE AT OUR RETREAT. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH UMD'S OUTDOOR PROGRAM TO INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO FIREARM SAFETY, RANGE SAFETY, AND SAFE SHOOTING. WE HAVE PURCHASED FILM AND CONSERVATION EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR DISTRIBUTIOON TO AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND SPONSOR YOUTHS TO ATTEND SUMMER SESSIONS AT THE LONG LAKE YOUTH CONSERVATION CENTER. WE ALSO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS FRIENDS OF NRA AND MCF'S WALK ON THE WILD SIDE CHILDREN'S WILDLIFE MAGAZINE.
THIRD ACCOMPLISHMENT FORM 990-EZ, PART III, LINE 30 UNS MEMBERSHIP - UNS MEMBERS ATTENDING MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS RECEIVE EDUCATION ON CURRENT TOPICS AND HELP ESTABLISH PROGRAM PRIORITIES AND ELECT INDIVIDUALS FOR LEADERSHIP POSITIONS.
