OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Housing Services - Provides housing stabilization assistance for individuals living with issues of substance addiction, mental illnesses and HIV/AIDS. This year the program helped 424 individuals secure and maintain housing. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Summer Camp - Program that provides a stimulating recreational program for homeless and disadvantaged children for five weeks each summer. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, sports, dance, music, journal writing, field trips and reading instruction. The camp also provides job opportunities through the counselor-in-training and counselor programs. 84 campers ages 5-13 participated in the program in 2012. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Mentoring - Program which provides after school tutoring sessions, college preparation, weekend sports activities and enriching field trips to homeless and disadvantaged children. High school students are taken on college tours, provided with SAT tutoring and assisted with the college application process. Scholarships are available to help with college tuition and books. 137 youth ages 9-19 participated in the program in 2012. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Neighbors Program Home Health Care - Program provides its uniquely compassionate and individualized home care to the elderly and disabled. Services are provided on both an hourly and live-in basis. In 2012, the Neighbors Program provided over 191,000 hours of service to approximately 750 elderly and disabled patients in Westchester County. The program also offers free home health aide training and guaranteed employment to primarily to low-income minority women. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Rainbow Outreach - Provides social and educational programs and case management services to developmentally disabled individuals and their families from traditionally underserved communities and minority groups. In the past year, the program served 70 developmentally disabled individuals and sponsored field trips to various events. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: Miscellaneous Programs
