What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE ORGANIZATION WAS ORGANIZED IN 1978 FOR THE PURPOSE OF STIMULATING AND MAINTAINING GROWTH IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA, MOST SPECIFICALLY WITHIN THE TRADE AREA OF THE CITIES LOCATED IN TOWNER COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA, WHICH CURRENTLY HAS A POPULATION OF LESS THAN 3,000 PEOPLE.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 DURING 2012, THE ORGANIZATION ATTEMPTED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN FACILITATING THE SALE OR LEASE OF THE PLANTS OF TWO LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN MAJOR EMPLOYERS IN THE COMMUNIUTY, BUT WHICH DISCONTINUED OPERATIONS IN CANDO IN 2011 AND 2012.
