THE CHARLESTON DEVELOPMENT BOARD FOUNDATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING MANUFACTURING, PAYROLLS AND INVESTMENTS IN THE CHARLESTON, BERKELEY AND DORCHESTER COUNTIES, AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE INDUSTRIAL, AGRICULTURAL, PORT, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THESE COUNTIES.
