What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To promote professionalism and education and improved communication to create a network of competent, experienced attorneys to improve legal services to our clients in the hotel, restaurant, hospitality, travel, meeting, convention, tourism and related industries.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 IN 2012 THE ACADEMY OF HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY ATTORNEYS HELD TWO MEETINGS FOCUSED ON BOTH CONTINUING EDUCATION AND NETWORKING. AT THESE MEETINGS, MEMBERS WERE EDUCATED ON CURRENT TOPICS OF INTEREST IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY. IN ADDITION THE AHIA WEBSITE UNDERWENT A MAJOR REDESIGN TO GIVE THE ACADEMY A MORE PROFESSIONAL ONLINE PRESENCE.
