TO INCLUDE LESSONS OF THE HOLOCAUST AND TO INCLUDE ETHICAL LEADERSHIP IN LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE PROGRAM IS GIVEN TO VARAIOUS LEGAL AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES. THERE WAS NO COST TO THE PARTICIPANTS. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: $10,000 - HUNGRY KIDS PROGRAM - FUNDING ASSISTS THE PRESCOTT AND HUMBOLT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO PROVIDE UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN WITH MUCH NEEDED FOOD FOR THE WEEKEND. MORE THAN 150 DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN RECEIVE BACKPACKS OF FOOD WITH TWO BREAKFASTS, TWO LUNCHES AND TWO DINNERS ON FRIDAY AFTERNOONS. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: $7,000 - HUNGER RELIEF COLLABORATION, COMMITTED TO FEEDING THE HUNGRY IN THE GREATER PRESCOTT AREA. THE GRANT WILL BE USED TO SUPPORT THE DAILY OPERATION OF THE KITCHENS. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: $6,598 - YAVAPAI COMMUNITY COLLEGE - FUNDING IS DONATED TO THE COLLEGE TO ASSIST IN BRINGING NEW YORK METROPOLITAN OPERA PERFORMANCES TO THE COLEGE WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WITHOUT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THE COLLEGE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BRING THE PROGRAM TO A SMALL COMMUNITY THAT GENERALLY IS RESERVED FOR LARGE POPULATION CITIES. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: $5,000 PRESCOTT AREA WOMENS SHELTER (PAWS) AN EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR HOMELESS WOMEN AND WOMEN WITH CHILDREN. THE SHELTER PROVIDES BASIC RESOURCES TO HOMELESS/TRANSITIONAL WOMEN AND CHILDREN OF YAVAPAI COUNTY. THE SHELTER'S OUTREACH PROGRAM CONNECTS THE WOMEN TO CURRENT OUTSIDE SORCES. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: $3,000 - REACH OUT AND READ ARIZONA INITIATIVE BY THE ARIZONA CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS FOUNDATION. THE GRANT WILL HELP EIGHT PEDIATRICS CLINICS THROUGHOUT YAVAPAI COUNTY PROMOTE LITERACY TO YOUNG CHILDREN BY PROVIDING AGE-APPROPRIATE BOOKS ABOUT HEALTHY FOOD CHOICES AND PHYSICIAL ACTIVITY. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 10: $10,000 - VARIOUS GRANTS CONSISTING OF: $2,500 CASA FOR KIDS(COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES), COMMUNITY BASED VOLUNTEERS PROVIDING UNMET NEEDS OF ABUSED, NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED CHILDREN; $2,500 CENTRAL ARIZONA SENIORS' ASSOCIATION WHICH PROVIDES DAILY MEALS TO OVER 100 HOMEBOUND ADULTS AND 40 DINING ROOM ADULTS; $2,000 ADULT CAE SERVICES WHICH PROVIDES THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS IN THE ARTS & CRAFTS FOR A 57 BED RESIDENTIAL/ASSISTED LIVING FOR PEOPLE WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND DEMENTIA. $2,000 BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF CENTRAL ARIZONA, THE GRANT WILL BE USED TO TEACH TEENAGERS THE VIRTUES OF COMPASSION, TOLERANCE, RESPONSIBILITY AND CITIZENSHIP. $1,000 PRESCOTT CENTR FOR THE ARTS, THE GRANT WILL SUPPORT AN ORIGINAL PLAY CONTEST FOR YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS. THE BEST WILL BEPRODUCED AND PERFORMED FOR THE COMMUNITY. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 11: $5,529 THREE PROGRAMS: $3,335 MENORAH DISPLAY PROJECT, WHICH INCLUDED DEVELOPING A LIGHTED DISPLAY DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON AS REQUESTED BY THE PRESCOTT VALLEY CHANBER OF COMMERCE. $1,432 PJ LIBRARY WHICH THROUGH THE HAROLD GREENSPOON FOUNDATION PROVIDES JEWISH BOOKS TO CHILDREN AGES 6 MONTHS TO 8+ YEARS OF AGE WHICH INCLUDES A PARENTS READING GUIDE TO ASSIST CHILDREN READING. $762 TICKETS FOR DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHICH IS AN INNOVATIVE PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES TICKETS TO ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS FOR THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWISE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE A LIVE PERFORMANCE AND SPORTS EVENTS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDED TICKETS FOR THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB, DISADVANATAGED MEN AT THE LOCAL SHELTER AND MEN IN THE VETRANS HOSPITAL.
