Explanation:

When I became the treasurer, our books were in a real mess and I got things in order and filed our 2009 and 2010 Form 990's. After filing two years quickly I did not realize that we had missed our 2011 year until now I am preparing to turn over the treasurer duties to a new Board member since my term has ended. The organizations new treasurer has her own bookkeeping business and handles many non-profits. I am confident that she will be tracking the due dates of our 990's going forward to ensure that there will no longer be a late filing.
