Conference was attended by 1,113 individuals, including 410 students. Also provided support to the MicroTAS 2012 conference held in Okinawa, Japan which was primarily sponsored by the University of Tokyo and various Japanese organizations concerned with the promotion and advancement of science and engineering in the field of chemical and biological microsystems, and to stimulate the exchange of ideas and information between academic, industrial, and government researchers.
