	The Association provides running issue campaigns. The Board of Directors votes on issue campaigns on issues important to students to run on campuses around the State. Recent issues that have been prioritized include financial aid, tuition, and student voting engagement.

	ASA's "Leadership Development and Training" class encompasses the many trainings that the organization provides as part of the students' development as leaders. Any such information regarding the business interests of a director, officer, or staff member, or a family member thereof, shall be treated as confidential and shall generally be made available only to the chair, the executive director and any committee appointed to address conflicts of interest, except to the extent additional disclosure is necessary in connection with the implementation of this policy.If someone suspects that there is a violation of this policy, they will report it to the executive director and the chair. (If they suspect either of the above, they will report it to the vice chair or their immediate supervisor.)An ad-hoc committee will be created to investigate the claims with board members, employees, and legal opinion if necessary. Within 30 days (or with notice of needing longer time), the committee will share its findings with the accused and the person who provided the report if there was no basis for the claims.
