What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Cincinnati Academy of Professional Psychology (CAPP) is an organization of psychologists with the following purposes: to promote excellence in the practice of professional psychology in the Cincinnati area; to promote greater public knowledge of the psychological aspects of human behavior; to designate and maintain high standards in the professional relationships between psychology and other allied professions and organizations whose aims are compatible with it, and between psychology and the community; to provide an opportunity for peer consultation and continuing education with emphasis on the exchange of information related to the practice of psychology; and to provide a strong organization base and forum through which members may address matters of mutual interest and professional concern and work cooperatively to resolve problems. CAPP has 143 members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Dinner meetings are held four or five times a year. Each includes a speaker and one unit of continuing education to licensed psychologists. This year 206 people attended FIVE dinner meetings.
