What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE CORPORATION IS FORMED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE FURTHERENCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE GAMING INDUSTRY IN CRIPPLE CREEK, COLORADO WITH EMPHASIS ON THE CASINO BUSINESS AND OTHER RETAIL BUSINESSES.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Cripple Creek Casino Association works to educate state legislators about the gaming industry in Cripple Creek and the state, as well as advocating for and against industry-specific legislation. It also works to educate the public about the benefits of the industry to the local economy. The gaming industry employs hundreds of local workers who benefit from the Association's activities. During the course of theyear, the Association held 12 Board meetings and no public meetings. Roughly 5 volunteers run the organization.
