Explanation:

I as all officers are volunteers and I was very ill with heart and kidney problems in May. I thought an extension was filed and I had until 8/15 to file. Did not realize until I filed that the extension had not been filed. It was not intentional but happened during the chaos of my illness. Any penalty would be a hardship for this organization as we are trying to expand our GI support activities and also spending much money on trying to upgrade our building into a community shelter in case another crisis like Hurricane Sandy should hit. So pease help us to help our community, vets and GIs by being understanding. Respectfully John Lewis
