What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE MISSION OF THE GREATER WASHINGTON ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL ADVISORS IS TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE THE LIVELIHOOD OF FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS AND CONSUMERS THROUGH ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION ON INDUSTRY MATTERS, WHILE PROMOTING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF ETHICAL BEHAVIOR.

IT IS A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL ADVISORS' FEDERATION. NAIFA-GWDC PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, A NEWSLETTER AND KEEPS THE MEMBERSHIP INFORMED ON ISSUES OF INTEREST TO INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS.
