THE FUND IS AIMED AT HELPING TECHNOLOGY-BASED FIRMS ACCESS THE CAPITAL THEY NEED TO GROW AND CREATE JOBS. CO-INVESTMENT BY ONE OR MORE INVESTORS IS REQUIRED AND BUSINESSES MUST BE LOCATED IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA. 2)THE OKC TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS LAUNCH INITIATIVE IS A THREE-YEAR PILOT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE WHICH OFFERS NEW ENHANCED BUSINESS GROWTH SERVICES TO TECHNOLOGY-BASED START-UP COMPANIES AND ENTREPRENEURS WITH HIGH GROWTH POTENTIAL. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE AN ENTREPRENEUR-IN-RESIDENCE (EINR) PROGRAM, AN EXECUTIVE-IN-RESIDENCE (EIR) PROGRAM, EXPANDING THE I2E FELLOWS PROGRAM AND GROWING THE OKC CHAPTER OF SEEDSTEP ANGELS. 3)ACCELERATE OKLAHOMA FUNDS: THROUGH THE OKLAHOMA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, I2E HAS DEVELOPED A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH THE US DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY THAT ALLOWS I2E TO ACCESS APPROXIMATELY 13.1 MILLION IN NEW FUNDING TO BE INVESTED IN OKLAHOMA COMPANIES OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS. I2E HAS CREATED THREE NEW FUNDS THAT EACH OFFER EQUITY AND GROWTH INVESTMENT CAPITAL FOR STATE-BASED ENTREPRENEURS, DEPENDING ON THE LIFECYCLE STAGE OF THEIR BUSINESS. 4) IN SEPTEMBER 2012, THE ORGANIZATION ENTERED INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION (EDA) TO FUND THE TULSA BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE. THIS GRANT WAS APPROVED FOR 393,765 OVER A 36 MONTH PERIOD IN ORDER FOR THE ORGANIZATION TO IMPLEMENT A PILOT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE. THIS INITIATIVE OFFERS NEW ENHANCED BUSINESS SERVICES TO ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY START-UP COMPANIES IN THE TULSA AREA. THE PROJECT BRINGS 393,765 OF FEDERAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE AND 393,765 OF MATCHING FUNDS FROM LOCAL PARTNERS.
