The School believes that the new method more accurately reflects periodic changes in net assets. The effect of the change was to increase investments and investment earnings by $94,570 for the year ended June 30, 2012. The financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2011 have been retroactively restated for such change which resulted in an increase in investments and investment earnings of $212,802. The cumulative effect on prior years was to increase net assets by $539,005 as of the beginning of 2011.
