Copies of the completed return, including schedules, are sent to each member of the Board of Directors and the corporate officers for review. Officers and Board memebers are encouraged to call or e-mail the CFO with any questions. After a one week period for review, questions or comments and any revisions, the board is polled and approves the return which is then filed electronically.

The Human Resource Director provides all new employees with copies of all applicable written policies at the time of hire, or upon transfer or promotion within the organization, HR has each of the employees execute a form indicating the employee understands and is in compliance with the "conflict of interest" policy. HR also distributes a summary of the policy annually with a form to be signed by all employees, that their status with regard to the "conflict of interest" policy has not changed. The board of directors is provided with a copy of the "conflict of interest" policy when they join the board, and it is also stated in the By-Laws.

The Board of Directors reviews all employment contract terms, where applicable, and compensation for officers, medical providers and certain key employees. Comparability data is provided by our independent auditors, our state primary care association, other southern california FQHC's, and other sources. This is a scheduled agenda item at one or more monthly board meetings and the action taken is documented in the minutes of the meeting(s).
