Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Credit unions are cooperative savings and credit associations incorporated under Act #260 of May 1993, or Act #183 of Sept. 1961 for the purpose of promoting thrift amoung its members. Also to create a source of credit for such members at reasonable rates to use and control their own money on a democratic basis in order to improve their own economic and social condition.
