Explanation:

The web site failed to send a reminder in 2012 that my 990-EZ was due and forms were available. It wasn't until I received notification for the 2012 filing and logged on to do so that I became aware of missing the 2011 filing. The only email I had received was for organizations whose fiscal year ended in June. Since that did not apply to me I expected a notification when mine was due and thought no more about it.
