1	Anthony Foundation conducts projects that combine the arts and sciences. Anthony Foundation Sound Recording Studio operated for some ten years as a creative educational project. With the mission of fusing the art and science of sound, the studio was a place where recording technology and techniques are constantly evolving. Engineers and artists collaborated to create new and limitless sonic landscapes. In addition to studying sound, testing theories and creating technological advances, dozens of artists recorded their music free of charge in the studio which is open to all. In 2011, Anthony Foundation received into their keeping the archival recordings of Walter Andrus's music produced between 1964 and 1971. Two former participants in the studio were given access to these recording in order to create the "Andrus Studio Archive." The music will be digitally cataloged and an historic perspective of the times in which it was produced will be written.Since the director's illness in 2011, t	1,849
