What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To provide service above self to the community and the world. To promote international peace. The local club is a part of Rotary International which is the largest and oldest service organization. To serve the community through projects and assistance in areas worthy of need.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Club co-sponsored a foreign student into the Georgia Rotary Student Program to attend a local GA College to help promote peace and understanding. This program is for one year and pays the tuition, room and board for the student. The student stays in Rotarians homes on most weekends and gets submerged in the cultural aspects of living in America.
