The team offers high quality professional coaching in a family friendly small team environment. Swim instruction for all ages and training groups emphasizes proper stoke technique. As swimmers progress into higher level training groups aerobic conditioning and race strategy becomes an increasing focus. Older age group swimmers and High School Swimmers train to compete at State, Regional, and National levels of competition. A goal of our team is to provide every member individualized attention by maintaining a low Coach to Swimmer ratio. USA provides all swimmers, from novice to national competitors, an opportunity to improve their swimming skills, achieve success at meets; while also teaching life skills such as gaining self confidence, positively meeting challenges, and goal setting. USA coaches, are members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, and have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. Our coaches work to assure that the time children spend in swimming is quality time. USA is a non-profit 501c3 organization run by a volunteer parent board. The board ensures that the team provides constructive, competitive, and non-competitive swim programs for their children. Our swim team is a positive outlet and helps to build life skills for the swimmers. ABOUT USA:The United Swim Association (USA) is very excited to be celebrating our fifth year of operation. Our team trains swimmers from various communities including Dublin, Hilliard, Lewis Center, Powell, Upper Arlington, and surrounding neighborhoods. Our swimmers range in ages from 5 to 18, and every swimmer enjoys a positive, family-structured swim program.

Our club is a USA Swimming year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for age group and high school swimmers of all abilities. We also offer a non-competitive swim program for swimmers who are new to the sport, summer swimmers, or multi-sport athletes who want train with a swim program. The club's philosophy focuses around each individual swimmer's development of stroke technique, training capacity, and most importantly, developing a life-long enjoyment of the sport. We strive to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to national competitor. All of our coaches, are members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. Our Coaches provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time. We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well-rounded competitive swim team. USA's commitment is to maintain a low coach to swimmer ratio and provide each swimmer an opportunity to meaningfully interact with the Coaches. Our small team environment and family friendly environment and activities make being a part of this team a lot of fun for all members of the family.

The United Swim Association is a USA Swimming Year-round competitive swim team that emphasizes competitive success at the Local, State, Regional, and National levels. USA provides programs for all ages, skill and commitment levels. We emphasizes a strong team concept, teaching life concepts and goal setting as vital components of our organization at all levels. Team goals include: 1.Raising our status to become a top team at the local level, become a top placing team at the state level (Junior Olympics), 2.Gain a significant presence at the regional level (Central Zones and Sectionals) 3.Send swimmers to national level meets. We have a well devised age group system where kids are encouraged to be their best and are taught the current "cutting edge" techniques in a fun, diverse, safe and supportive atmosphere. We have an High Performing level group that supplies an environment that leads to success at the State, Zone/Sectional and National levels of swimming competition.

Together, we are a learning organization, always listening to our parents and swimmers. We hope to help swimmers develop and demonstrate the following values at all team activities and that these values carry into all areas of their life: 1. Being Helpful, Friendly, and Courteous at all times 2. Respect for themselves, their teammates, their coaches, and their opponents 3. A Caring and Kind attitude for others around them 4. Being Honest with themselves and others around them 5. Taking Responsibility for their own actions, and learning the responsibilities they have to teammates and the team.
F990_P03_S00_L00e Form 990, Part III (Cont. 5) 2012-2013 Season Accomplishments: We had a very successful season in 2012-2013: * We had 37% of our age group team participate in the Short Course Junior Olympics and 41% of our age group team participated in the Long Course Junior Olympics! * In our short course season, 67% of our kids have achieved a National Time Standard of a B or better in at least one event. * In our long course season, 97% of our kids have achieved a National Time Standard of a B or better in at least one event! * We had a State Champion last year and a swimmer take 4th overall in total points at the State Championship meet. * We had swimmers make Jr Nationals, Sectional and Zone cuts this year. * We grew our Aquatic Adventures program to over 170 swimmers during the season, doubling our program size in one year * We created a partnership with the Union County Family YMCA to provide swim programming to families in the Marysville area. In our inaugural year, we enrolled over 50 swimmers in the program. * We provided subsidized programming to several swimmers during the year, allowing families that would not normally have the opportunity to participate the ability to join our team. *We provided numerous swim clinics, showcasing our expertise and allowing families to benefit from our instruction before considering joining our program. *We co-hosted a Fitter and Faster Swim Clinic with the City of Hilliard bringing three Olympians to Central Ohio for a morning of swim instruction and Olympic insights. We had over 120 swimmers participate in this clinic.
