    Summary of Direct Charitable Activities
List the foundation’s four largest direct charitable activities during the tax year. Include relevant statistical information such as the number of organizations and other beneficiaries served, conferences convened, research papers produced, etc. Expenses
1 Campus Deen Program ECF developed the Campus Deen program to aggregate resources for Muslim students on American campuses, so ECF convened thought leaders and campus chaplains on two separate occasions to identify useful resources in a number of sections: campus life, social and mental health services, professional development, civic and community engagement, and interfaith relationship-building and dialogue. These resources, including links to articles, organizations and blogs, were compiled and organized to be housed on an ECF website. ECF also focused on website development, graphic design, marketing materials and other campaigns related to the website launch anticipated for 2013. The Campus Deen program also developed training materials for a two week intensive leadership training for students on campuses. 137,552
2 The El-Hibri Peace Education Prize ProgramThe El-Hibri Peace Education Prize Program provided a $20,000 award to recognize a peace education leader for his/her past achievements in the field of peace education. In addition, an additional $5,000 award was provided to recognize a youth with current achievements and high potential for future achievements. The Program included publicizing the awards, soliciting nominations, organizing a selection committee managed by Nonviolence International and Search for Common Ground, respectively, and hosting an award event at the foundation attended by over 70 people. 56,738
3 One World Youth ProgramThe One World Youth Program, acquired by ECF in November, 2012, provides opportunities for university students to become peace educators by training them with the skills and curricula for teaching conflict resolution, peace and global citizenship in partnering middle school classrooms. Six universities in five countries participate in the program offered to seven middle schools: these include universities in the United States, Turkey, Kosovo, Pakistan and Guyana. OWYP provides online and on-site training to student teachers, the curriculum used to teach in middle schools, and ongoing programmatic support and regular check-ins with student leaders and university administrators. 39,604
4 The Ibrahim El-Hibri Interfaith Lecture and IftarECFs annual interfaith lecture was entitled: "Reflections of Paths to Global Interfaith Peace and Justice" which was given by a leader in the interfaith community, Rabbi Dr. Marc Gopin. This speech was given in connection with Ramadan and an Iftar dinner following the lecture. The lecture included approximately 50 attendees. 6,471
