	For the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2013 the Black Business Association of Memphis BBA continued to fulfill its mission to assist and counsel start up businesses and to support the growth of existing minority and women owned businesses. Additionally, in 2013 the BBAs President, served on the Board of Directors for the Minority Business Development Oversight Committee MBDOC at city hall where our mission is to assist the city in populating the city supply chain with women and Minority owned businesses. We have achieved enormous success in executing this mission. The BBA also served as host to a federal initiative Department of Transportation known as the Construction Bonding Education Program. The class was successfully completed by 26 construction contracting companies. BBA also continued to deliver several other community programs and also worked in concert closely with many other organizations, City, County and State Governments to support women and Minority owned business initiatives.
